Offered in the app for: Guilt or loyalty pressure · Credit for work
Try it
- Remove one unnecessary apology and one self-attack from your reply.
- Be fair to both sides. Remove an unnecessary apology, keep warranted accountability, and do not endorse an inaccurate claim.
Example
“I missed Tuesday’s deadline and I’m correcting that. I don’t agree the whole project is off track.”
Watch out
- “No apologies” doesn’t mean refusing accountability you actually owe.
- Apologize when accountability is genuinely warranted.
